If you're passionate about travel, possess excellent communication skills, and thrive in a dynamic environment, we invite you to explore our remote customer service opportunities. **Why You'll Love This Role** As a member of our Payments and Digital Strategy crew at arenaflex Credit Union, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth processing of financial transactions, including checking processing, direct bills, and budget transfers. Your expertise will be instrumental in maintaining the highest level of customer satisfaction while adhering to strict regulatory compliance. **Key Responsibilities** * Complete daily access and balancing features to ensure accurate financial records * Coordinate with contributors, vendors, the Federal Reserve Bank, and other institutions to resolve discrepancies and facilitate smooth transactions * Assist various departments with fraud resolution, member inquiries, and accounting standard ledger balancing * Work member cases/sports assigned to provide timely and effective solutions * Follow and maintain guidelines and procedures to ensure strict compliance with NACHA regulations and guidelines, as well as Federal Banking laws * Process mortgage bills, multi-account and member deposits, credit card bills, and other exams, including IRA, financial ruin, and payoff exams * Review, examine, and approve Remote Deposit, Mobile, ATM, and other imaged-enabled products * Log, study, and make necessary GL, account changes, and/or returns * Process Stop Pays and Check Batching * Complete daily balancing and department closing to ensure accurate financial records * Obtain information from contributors for the timely and correct processing of international and domestic budget switch requests * Research and verify incoming and outgoing budget switch information * Communicate with vendors to facilitate budget transfers * Understand and be familiar with outgoing and incoming budget switch laws * Deposit check returns, review member re-exams on draft changes, process member exams, verify contributors for outgoing budget transfers, and Federal Reserve verifying and releasing budget transfers * Complete daily processing of workflows associated with overdue returns, supply of receipts, international collections, and legal fees **Essential and Preferred Qualifications** * Minimum Qualifications: + High school degree or GED + Intermediate Excel and Word experience * Preferred Qualifications: + Previous customer/member service experience + Previous banking or Credit Union experience + Episys/Symitar and processing wires experience **Skills, Licenses & Certifications** * Skilled in Microsoft Office software (e.g., Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) through work experience or education and hands-on use * Ability to work prolonged hours in support of business needs * Ability to exercise excellent customer service skills * Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple responsibilities, and function as an integral part of a team * Ability to perform mathematical calculations and review data * Ability to effectively prioritize work and meet time limits under high volume pressure * Ability to cross-train and perform any position assigned within the department * Ability to interact professionally with all personnel and contributors * Ability to work independently and with minimum supervision * Ability to self-motivate with strong employer skills and ability for interest to detail * Ability to effectively prioritize work and meet time limits * Ability to maintain excellent performance and attendance * Must pass relevant arenaflex and Credit Union pre-employment compliance exams **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At arenaflex, we're committed to helping our employees grow and develop their skills.
