As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you will be the face of our organization, providing top-notch support to patients receiving life-saving specialty medication treatment. You will be responsible for handling new and reorder medication requests, verifying and renewing benefits, and collaborating with patients, insurance companies, healthcare providers, and internal teams to ensure timely and efficient processing of specialty drugs. **Key Responsibilities:**
* Handle a high volume of complex customer inquiries via phone, ensuring timely and accurate resolution of issues
* Coordinate and process new and reorder medication requests, including verifying and renewing benefits
* Assist patients in deciphering and entering new or reorder medications into the pharmacy data system, collecting and processing copay amounts, obtaining approvals, and collaborating with insurance companies, healthcare providers, and internal teams to resolve and process orders with clinical or sales issues
* Collaborate with patients, insurance companies, healthcare providers, and internal teams to ensure timely and efficient processing of specialty drugs
* Utilize Windows-based applications, such as Windows, Microsoft Office, web navigation, and email applications, to manage customer interactions and resolve issues
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions, including phone calls, emails, and correspondence
**Essential Qualifications:**
* Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
* One year of experience in a customer service role, handling and resolving a high volume of complex customer inquiries via phone
* One year of experience working with Windows-based applications, including Windows, Microsoft Office, web navigation, and email applications
* One year of PC keyboarding experience, skills, and proficiency
* Dynamic IL Pharmacy Technician License or willingness to apply for an IL Pharmacy Technician License
**Preferred Qualifications:**
* Healthcare work experience and knowledge of benefits, insurance, medications, and clinical terminology
* Experience working in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and retention
