**Work Environment:**
As a work-from-home customer service representative, you will enjoy a flexible schedule and a supportive environment. You will be required to attend 4 weeks of virtual training between the hours of 8-5 CST and will have the option to work a Monday-Friday schedule with flexible hours between 7 am and 7 pm CST.
**Responsibilities:**
- **Customer Support:** Provide high-quality support to customers nationwide, responding promptly to inquiries and resolving concerns efficiently.
- **Product Knowledge:** Develop in-depth knowledge of arenaflex's products and services to answer customer questions and provide accurate information.
- **Order Processing:** Process orders, forms, applications, and requests in a timely and efficient manner.
- **Record Keeping:** Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, transactions, comments, and complaints.
- **Team Collaboration:** Communicate and coordinate with colleagues as necessary to ensure seamless customer support.
- **Feedback and Improvement:** Provide feedback on the efficiency of the customer service process and suggest improvements to enhance customer satisfaction.
**Position Summary:**
As an Experienced Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for answering questions and resolving issues based on phone calls/letters from members, providers, and plan sponsors. You will triage resulting rework to appropriate staff, provide excellent customer services for high-volume inbound provider calls, and conduct extensive claims research on multiple platforms to assist providers with payment questions.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- **Claims Research:** Conduct extensive claims research on multiple platforms to assist providers with payment questions.
- **Customer Education:** Educate and assist providers on arenaflex's self-service options, credentialing, and re-credentialing, and contracting questions and issues.
- **Claim Data Compilation:** Assist in compiling claim data for customer audits.
- **Medical Necessity Determination:** Determine medical necessity, applicable coverage provisions, and verify member plan eligibility relating to incoming correspondence and internal referrals.
**Required Qualifications:**
- **Residency:** Must live in the state of Oklahoma full-time.
- **Technical Skills:** Familiarity with Microsoft Office products and high-speed internet access (25 mbps or higher) with a consistent connection.
- **Work Location:** Work location must be set up with a direct connection to the router (NOT Wi-Fi).
- **Education:** High School diploma or GED equivalent.
- **Experience:** Experience in a highly transactional call center environment and excellent customer service and critical thinking skills.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
- **Customer Service Experience:** Previous experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a healthcare or related industry.
- **Communication Skills:** Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and management.
- **Problem-Solving Skills:** Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and provide effective solutions.
