**Key Responsibilities:**
As an Experienced Customer Service & Sales Representative, your key responsibilities will include:
* Providing fast, friendly service to customers, assessing their needs, and recommending products to meet their requirements
* Learning about products and services using our tools and training programs
* Greeting, qualifying, recommending, and closing every customer in your department
* Maintaining the in-stock condition of assigned areas, ensuring they are clean, shop-able, and safe
* Providing a safe working and shopping environment by following all safety policies & standards
* Working in cooperation with your Department Supervisor and other associates in your department as well as other departments
* Meeting or exceeding sales targets and customer satisfaction goals
* Identifying opportunities to upsell and cross-sell products and services
* Building strong relationships with customers, vendors, and colleagues
**Essential Qualifications:**
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* 1-2 years of experience in customer service or sales, preferably in a retail or wholesale environment
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet sales targets
* Strong product knowledge and ability to learn quickly
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Basic math skills and ability to handle cash and operate a point-of-sale system
* High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
**Preferred Qualifications:**

* Experience in a sales or customer service role in a retail or wholesale environment
* Knowledge of building materials, décor, electrical, flooring, garden, hardware, kitchen & bath, lumber, millwork, paint, plumbing, and tool rental products and services
