As a Trainee, you'll participate in a comprehensive hybrid training program that combines on-site and remote learning. Our culture is built on the principles of collaboration, innovation, and customer-centricity, and we're committed to fostering a workplace that is inclusive, diverse, and respectful. **Typical Assignments:** As a Customer Service Trainee, you'll have the opportunity to develop your skills in the following areas: * Researching inquiries by accessing our claims processing system and other informational sources * Responding to customer, group, and provider questions through telephone contact and/or written communication, using proper etiquette, grammar, punctuation, and tone * Maintaining related departmental records and files * Operating office equipment, including personal computers, calculators, copiers, and fax machines * Making corrections to claims and eligibility * Entering new claims, eligibility, and subscriber information into our mainframe * Reviewing subscriber coverage to determine type and level of benefits **Minimum Requirements:** * Possess a high school diploma or equivalent * One year of customer service experience in a business environment that requires the use of a computer program to assist the customer, preferably in a call center, and/or dental experience * Successful completion of the customer service simulation test (minimum score of 62 out of a possible 100) (assessment waived if candidate previously passed test while at arenaflex or if previously held Customer Service Trainee, Customer Service Advisor, or Customer Service Associate position) * Ability to work a flexible schedule, including early morning and evening shifts, Monday through Friday **Preferred Qualifications:** * Experience working in a dental or healthcare environment * Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications * Strong communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities * Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software **Essential Skills and Competencies:** * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work in a team environment and provide excellent customer service * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills * Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications * Ability to learn and adapt quickly to new systems and processes * Strong attention to detail and organizational skills **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits:** As a Customer Service Trainee at arenaflex, you'll have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in a dynamic and supportive environment.
