**Key Responsibilities**
As a Customer Service/Sales Representative at arenaflex, you will be responsible for:
* Providing fast, friendly, and personalized service to customers, assessing their needs, and providing assistance to meet their requirements
* Learning about products and services using our tools and providing information to customers to sell an entire project
* Greeting, qualifying, recommending, and closing every customer in your department, as well as handling basics in adjacent departments
* Maintaining the in-stock condition of assigned areas, ensuring they are clean, shop-able, and safe
* Providing a safe working and shopping environment by following all safety policies and standards, completing specified safety training, and reporting hazards and unsafe conditions to the Manager on Duty
* Working in cooperation with your Department Supervisor and other associates in your department, as well as other departments
* Meeting sales targets and contributing to the growth of the sales team
* Building strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs, and providing solutions to meet their requirements
* Staying up-to-date with product knowledge, industry trends, and competitor activity to provide expert advice to customers
**Essential Qualifications**
* High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
* 1-2 years of experience in customer service, sales, or a related field
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues
* Strong product knowledge and sales skills, with the ability to learn and adapt quickly
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of energy and enthusiasm
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong sense of accountability and responsibility
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Experience in a retail or sales environment, with a strong understanding of customer service principles and practices
* Knowledge of building materials, décor, electrical, flooring, garden, hardware, kitchen and bath, lumber, millwork, paint, plumbing, and tool rental products and services
* Experience with sales software and technology, such as CRM systems and sales analytics tools
* Strong leadership and coaching skills, with the ability to mentor and develop junior team members
* Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
