**Job Summary**
As a Customs Trade Coordinator at arenaflex, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient movement of goods across international borders. You'll be responsible for processing customs documentation, managing shipments, and providing exceptional customer service to our clients. **Key Responsibilities**
* Provide exceptional customer service to clients, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
* Process customs documentation, including import and export declarations, certificates of origin, and commercial invoices
* Manage shipments, including tracking and tracing, to ensure timely delivery and compliance with regulations
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of shipments, including documentation and tracking information
* Collaborate with internal teams, including operations, sales, and customer service, to ensure seamless communication and execution of shipments
* Stay up-to-date on changing regulations and requirements, including customs procedures, trade agreements, and compliance standards
* Process organization financier shipments and may handle distant filings
* Ensure all service and operational strategies are followed
* Perform other duties as assigned by management
**Essential Qualifications**
* Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as international trade, logistics, or business administration
* At least 6 months of experience in a related field, preferably in customs brokerage or international trade
* Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
* Experience with customs software and systems, including ACE and AES
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, colleagues, and external partners
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
**Preferred Qualifications**
* HS Certificate or GED
* Industry experience in customs brokerage or international trade
* Experience with Viewpoint or other customs software systems
* Familiarity with international trade regulations and compliance standards
* Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
* Ability to work in a team environment and contribute to a positive and productive team culture
