**Job Summary**
We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join our team in a remote role. As a Data Engineer at careerzynith, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining cloud-based data pipelines that support our media business. You will work closely with our Choice Science, Client, and Innovation colleagues to deliver high-quality data solutions that drive business value.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Design, develop, and maintain cloud-based data pipelines using SQL, Python, Docker, and other technologies
* Work with our Choice Science, Client, and Innovation colleagues to deliver high-quality data solutions that drive business value
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize data requirements
* Develop and maintain data pipelines that support our media business, including data ingestion, processing, and delivery
* Ensure data quality, integrity, and security through rigorous testing and validation
* Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in data engineering and apply this knowledge to drive innovation and improvement
**Requirements**
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field
* 2+ years of experience in ELT/ETL data pipeline development and support
* Strong knowledge and experience with Python and SQL (ideally with Snowflake)
* Experience with creating in a multi-cloud (Dev, QA, Goad, etc.) and DEVOP strategies for code organization/advancement
* Experience creating and maintaining automated work schedulers
* Strong understanding of social data set plan and capability
**Nice to Have**
* Experience working with large datasets and big data technologies, ideally cloud-based, like Snowflake, Databricks, or similar
* Proficient on cloud design and product contributions, ideally AWS
* Experience overseeing and delivering code using a source control item like GitLab/GitHub
* Experience using Docker
