**The Data Engineering Team**
Our Data Engineering team is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the data pipelines and analytics systems that power our business. We work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and deploy data-driven solutions that drive business value and improve customer experiences. As a Data Engineer on our team, you'll have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from data warehousing and ETL/ELT pipelines to data visualization and machine learning.
**Job Summary**
We're seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join our team and help us drive business growth and innovation through data-driven solutions. As a Data Engineer, you'll be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining cloud-based data pipelines and analytics systems that power our business. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and deploy data-driven solutions that drive business value and improve customer experiences.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Design, build, and maintain cloud-based data pipelines and analytics systems using technologies such as Snowflake, PostgreSQL, Python, and Docker
* Develop and deploy data-driven solutions that drive business value and improve customer experiences
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and deploy data-driven solutions
* Work with large datasets and large-scale data processing technologies, such as Snowflake, Databricks, or similar
* Develop and maintain automated workflows and schedulers to ensure data quality and integrity
* Provide data engineering support and guidance to other teams and stakeholders
* Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in data engineering and analytics
**Essential Qualifications**
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field
* 2+ years of experience in ELT/ETL data pipeline development and support
* Strong experience with Python and SQL (ideally with Snowflake)
* Experience with creating and maintaining automated workflows and schedulers
* Strong understanding of data modeling and data governance
* Experience working with cloud-based technologies, such as AWS
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Experience working with large datasets and large-scale data processing technologies, such as Snowflake, Databricks, or similar
* Proficiency in cloud design and product contributions, ideally AWS
* Experience overseeing and deploying code using a source control item like GitLab/GitHub
* Experience using Docker
