Our commitment to continuous quality improvement, innovation, and client satisfaction has earned us a reputation as a trusted partner in the healthcare industry. **Job Summary** As an Experienced Data Entry Associate at arenaflex, you will play a critical role in gathering, preparing, and entering alphabetic and numeric data from various source documents into our computer system for storage, processing, and data management purposes. You will work closely with our team to ensure accurate and efficient data entry, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA regulations. If you're a motivated and detail-oriented individual with excellent communication skills, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity. **Responsibilities** As an Experienced Data Entry Associate, your key responsibilities will include: * Gathering, organizing, and preparing source documents for data entry into our system database * Reviewing data for discrepancies, missing pages, or information and resolving discrepancies using standard procedures or returning incomplete documents to the team leader for resolution * Entering both alphabetic and numeric data from source documents into the proper system database * Reviewing data entered against the original source documents for accuracy and correcting any data entry errors or duplications * Following data program security practices and procedures at all times * Routinely securing information by completing database backup daily * Performing other various clerical duties such as sorting, filing, emailing, and proofreading as required * Maintaining confidentiality of all personal and financial information at all times and in accordance with HIPAA regulations * Performing other duties as assigned by the team leader or management **Qualifications** To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications: * High school diploma or equivalent required * A minimum of 6 months related experience; or equivalent combination of training and experience * Experience in a medical office preferred * Must possess complete knowledge of general computer, fax, copier, scanner, and telephone * Must be knowledgeable of multiple software programs, including but not limited to Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and the Internet * Must have a full understanding of HIPAA regulations and compliance * Must be a qualified typist with a minimum of 40 W.P.M. * Ability to follow instructions and respond to management's directions accurately * Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness.
