**Job Summary**
The Experienced Data Entry Specialist – Alternate Investments will be responsible for performing daily reconciliation, trade, and transfer tasks for Alternate Investments. This role requires attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. **Key Responsibilities**
* Process trade deal purchases in customer profiles and identify/address discrepancies between TD Ameritrade and fund companies or transfer agents
* Process Corporate Activity Activities, settle/reconcile transactions, and process/reconcile returns activity
* Perform analysis of complex/escalated issues, test/validation of new technology enhancements, and provider modifications
* Complete projects in Trading, Dividends, Transfers, Reconciliation, and Corporate Actions that directly impact the Client/Advisor profile
* Engage with Retail and Institutional Service Teams via email, phone, Slack, Overview, and Salesforce
* Collaborate with fund companies, transfer agents, counterparties, and other external business partners to resolve issues and improve processes
**Analysis and Troubleshooting**
* Review subscription deals or transfer requests
* Identify and address client/advisor account exceptions
* Ensure regulatory compliance (e.g., 2340 and 15C3-3)
* Reconcile Business, Dividend, and Transactions Breaks
* Resolve discrepancies between BOS and Fund Companies
* Review and analyze correct tax coding and corrections of tax coding errors
* Troubleshoot internal/external system issues or concerns
* Identify root causes of breaks between TDA, the Fund, etc.
* Provide method or innovation service alternatives to Management
* Remediate transfer issues with the Fund or Counterparty
* Answer business partner inquiries concerning Fund details requirements/eligibility
* Provide follow-up on Substitute Expenditure moves to expedite the customer demand or remediate not neat issues
* Promptly and accurately finalize client investing and dividend demands
**Essential Qualifications**
* High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
* 0-2 years of experience in data entry, customer service, or a related field
* Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
* Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
* Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM systems a plus
**Preferred Qualifications**
* 2+ years of experience in data entry, customer service, or a related field
* Experience with TD Ameritrade or a similar financial platform
* Knowledge of regulatory requirements (e.g., 2340 and 15C3-3)
* Familiarity with tax coding and corrections
* Experience with system troubleshooting and analysis
* Certification in data entry or a related field a plus
