**Job Summary**
As a Data Entry Specialist, you will be responsible for performing daily reconciliation, trade, and transfer tasks for Alternate Investments. Your primary duties will include processing trade deal purchases in customer profiles, identifying and addressing discrepancies between TD Ameritrade and fund companies or transfer agents, and processing corporate activity activities, transactions, and returns. You will also be responsible for analyzing complex issues, testing and validating new technology enhancements, and communicating with external partners.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Process trade deal purchases in customer profiles and identify/address discrepancies between TD Ameritrade and fund companies or transfer agents
* Process corporate activity activities, transactions, and returns
* Analyze complex issues and provide recommendations for resolution
* Test and validate new technology enhancements and provider modifications
* Communicate with external partners, including fund companies, transfer agents, and other external business partners
* Review and analyze correct tax coding and corrections of tax coding issues
* Address internal/external system improvements or concerns
* Identify and resolve root causes of discrepancies between TDA, the Fund, etc.
* Provide method or innovation service alternatives to Management
* Remediate transfer issues with the Fund or Opposite Firm
* Answer business partner inquiries concerning Fund details requirements/eligibility
* Provide follow-up on Substitute Expenditure moves to expedite the customer demand or remediate not neat issues
* Prompt and accurate finalization of client investing and dividend demands
**Essential Qualifications**
* High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
* 0-2 years of experience in data entry or a related field
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data processing
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
* Familiarity with Salesforce and other CRM systems a plus
* Ability to learn and adapt to new technology and systems quickly
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Experience in the financial industry, particularly in alternate investments
* Knowledge of regulatory requirements, such as 2340 and 15C3-3
* Experience with data analysis and problem-solving
* Familiarity with tax coding and corrections
* Certification in data entry or a related field a plus
