Key Responsibilities
As a Data Entry Specialist at blithequark, you will be responsible for performing daily reconciliation, trade, and transfer tasks for Alternate Investments. Your key deliverables will include, but are not limited to:
- Processing trade deal purchases in customer profiles
- Identifying and addressing breaks recognized between blithequark and fund companies or transfer agents
- Processing Corporate Activity Activities, settling and reconciling transactions, and processing and reconciling returns activity
- Conducting analysis of complex and escalated issues
- Performing testing and validation of new technology enhancements and provider changes
You will be working closely with our Retail and Institutional Service Teams, using email, phone, Slack, Outlook, and Salesforce to ensure seamless communication and collaboration. Your role will also involve direct interaction with external business partners, including fund companies, transfer agents, and opposite agencies, embodying the values of blithequark in our daily interactions.
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and experience with CRM software such as Salesforce
Preferred Qualifications
While not essential, the following qualifications are preferred:
- Experience in data entry or a related field, particularly in the financial sector
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements, such as 2340 and 15C3-3
- Experience with trading, dividends, transfers, reconciliation, and corporate actions
- Strong understanding of tax coding and corrections
- Experience with testing and validation of new technology enhancements and provider changes
