As a key member of our pharmacy operations team, you'll be responsible for accurately processing patient data, resolving discrepancies, and providing exceptional customer service. If you're passionate about delivering high-quality results and have a strong foundation in data entry, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity. **Key Responsibilities:** * Accurately access and update patient information in accordance with federal and state regulations, ensuring compliance with HIPAA guidelines. * Process patient prescription requests, troubleshoot missing information, and interpret medical abbreviations (SIG codes) to ensure accurate data entry. * Resolve data entry-related exceptions, including reviewing, gathering facts, making corrections, and resubmitting for processing. * Handle correspondence with patients, including inbound calls, chats, and emails, as well as make outbound calls to prescribers and patients as needed. * Resolve 1/3 party rejects by reviewing, gathering facts, making corrections, and resubmitting for processing according to individual plan requirements. * Make phone calls to insurers and others to obtain information, gain override approval, or resolve 1/3 party rejects. * Provide assistance to pharmacists, both in-house and remotely, and identify and communicate issues to senior management as needed. * Obtain active technician license or certification within the first 90 days and maintain an active technician license or certification. **Essential Qualifications:** * High school diploma or equivalent (GED). * Basic computer skills, including: + Starting and shutting down a laptop. + Using a mouse to click and navigate. + Starting and closing applications. + Transferring between programs. + Saving files. + Printing documents and accessing information online. * Basic Google skills, including: + Opening a browser. + Typing in URLs in the correct field. + Using a search engine. + Bookmarking a website. + Navigating using back/forward/stop buttons. + Filling out online forms. * Intermediate keyboarding skills, including: + A minimum of 25 WPM. + Touch typing. + Formatting files. * Effective written and verbal communication skills. * 18 years of age or older. **Preferred Qualifications:** * At least 365 days of pharmacy technician experience in a retail or call center environment. * At least 18 months of experience as a pharmacy technician with a certificate/registration via state as granted by the state board of pharmacy or nationally recognized certification corporation. * Experience providing customer support to internal and external clients, including assembling pleasant standards for offerings and assessment of customer pride. * Intermediate to superior keyboarding skills, including: + A minimum of 35 WPM. + Touch typing. + Formatting files. * Fluency in Spanish and English. **What We Offer:** * Competitive hourly rate of $20/hour. * Opportunities for career growth and professional development. * Collaborative and dynamic work environment. * Comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance. * Paid time off and holidays. * Access to ongoing training and education programs. **How to Apply:** If you're a motivated and detail-oriented individual with a passion for delivering exceptional results, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
