**Job Summary**
As an Experienced Data Entry Specialist at careerzynith, you will be responsible for performing daily reconciliation, trade, and transfer activities for various investments. Your primary focus will be on processing exchange buy and sell transactions in customer profiles, identifying and addressing discrepancies between TD Ameritrade and fund companies or transfer agents. You will also be responsible for handling corporate activity events, settling and reconciling transfer activity, and processing and reconciling returns activity.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Process exchange buy and sell transactions in customer profiles
* Identify and address discrepancies between TD Ameritrade and fund companies or transfer agents
* Handle corporate activity events, including settlement and reconciliation of transfer activity
* Process and reconcile returns activity
* Perform research on complex or escalated issues
* Test and validate new innovation improvements and vendor changes
* Complete projects in Investing, Dividends, Transfers, Reconciliation, and Corporate Actions that directly impact the Client/Advisor account
* Collaborate with Retail and Institutional Company Teams through email, phone, Slack, Outlook, and Salesforce
* Communicate with TD Ameritrade Cleaning and work with fund companies, transfer brokers, opposite organizations, and other outside business partners
**Tasks Analysis**
* Review membership deals or transactions requests
* Identify client/Advisor level exceptions
* Meet regulatory commitments (e.g., 2340 and 15C3-3)
* Settle Business, Dividend, and Transfer Breaks
* Reconcile around BOS and Fund Companies
* Evaluate and analyze applicable tax code and correct tax coding errors
* Resolve internal/external system enhancements or issues
* Identify and address breaks between TDA, the Fund, etc.
* Deliver method or innovation solution choices to Control
* Remediate transmission problems with the Fund or Contra Agency
* Answer service partner inquiries regarding Fund specific requirements/eligibility
* Provide action on Choice Investment moves to expedite the customer request or remediate not in good order concerns
* Timely and accurate completion of client investing and returns requests
**Essential Qualifications**
* High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
* 1-2 years of experience in data entry, reconciliation, or a related field
* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
* Experience with Salesforce and other CRM systems a plus
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Experience in the financial industry, particularly in investment and trading
* Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance
* Familiarity with tax code and tax coding
* Experience with data analysis and reporting
* Certification in data entry or a related field
