**Job Summary**
As an Entry-Level Data Entry Specialist at arenaflex, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our daily reconciliation, trade, and transfer activities. You'll be responsible for processing exchange buy and sell transactions, recognizing and addressing breaks between TD Ameritrade and fund companies or transfer agents, and handling corporate activity events. Your attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to work independently will make you an invaluable asset to our team.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Process exchange buy and sell transactions in customer profiles, recognizing and addressing breaks between TD Ameritrade and fund companies or transfer agents
* Handle corporate activity events, including settlement and reconciliation of transfer activity and returns
* Perform research on complex or escalated issues, testing and validating new innovation improvements and vendor modifications
* Complete projects in Investing, Dividends, Transfers, Reconciliation, and Corporate Actions that directly impact the Client/Advisor account
* Collaborate with Retail and Institutional Company Teams through email, phone, Slack, Outlook, and Salesforce
* Communicate with TD Ameritrade Cleaning and work with fund companies, transfer brokers, opposite organizations, and other outside business partners
**Tasks Analysis**
* Customer review of membership deals or transactions requirements
* Client/Advisor level exceptions
* Regulatory commitments (e.g., 2340 and 15C3-3)
* Settlement of Business, Dividend, and Transfer Breaks
* Reconciliation between BOS and Fund Companies
* Evaluation and analysis of applicable tax code and corrections of tax coding
* Trouble Resolving:
+ Internal/External body enhancements or concerns
+ Origin of breaks between TDA, the Fund, etc.
+ Delivering method or innovation answer choices to Control
+ Remediating transmission problems with the Fund or Contra Agency
+ Answering service companion inquiries relating to Fund specific requirements/eligibility
+ Providing act on Choice Investment moves to expedite the customer request or remediate not in good order concerns
+ Timely and correct conclusion of client investing and returns requests
**Essential Qualifications**
* High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
* 0-2 years of experience in data entry, customer service, or a related field
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook
* Familiarity with Salesforce and other CRM systems a plus
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Experience with financial software and systems
* Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance
* Familiarity with tax coding and reconciliation
* Certification in data entry or a related field
