**Job Summary**
As an External Support Engineer at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for providing technical support to our content creation teams, creating reference materials and training programs to help them get up to speed with our toolset, and collaborating with our tools engineering team to resolve issues and drive process improvements. **Essential Functions/Responsibilities**
* Provide technical support to content/external teams in regards to use of content tools, including troubleshooting and resolving issues in a timely and effective manner
* Create reference materials and provide training to get external teams up to speed with the toolset, including developing documentation, guides, and tutorials
* Solve and debug possible issues with tools and workflows to quickly resolve issues for users, and escalate more complex or problematic issues to the tool development team
* Advocate for tools, workflow improvements, and suggestions from external teams, and partner with other engineers to develop tools and processes that improve efficiency and quality
* Guide or lead cross-disciplinary dialogs to drive features from initial concept to completion, and exemplify reliability, accountability, and professionalism in all work-related interactions
* Collaborate with other teams to identify and prioritize areas for improvement, and develop solutions to drive business outcomes
**Skills and Abilities**
* Ability to read and understand C# code, and experience with Unity 3D game and tool development
* Good written and verbal communication skills, including working with external partners and stakeholders
* Positive attitude and ability to receive and provide objective and constructive feedback
* Excellent organization skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage numerous requests simultaneously
* Self-motivating, with a strong desire to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment
* Experience with Jira, Confluence, or other defect tracking software, and iOS and Android mobile development experience
**Education and Experience**
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience
* Experience supporting a live service or tool environment, with a strong understanding of software development lifecycles and agile methodologies
* 5 years' experience in delivering production-level code in a professional environment, with a proven track record of problem-solving and collaboration
* Experience working in a remote or distributed team environment, with a strong ability to communicate and collaborate with team members across different time zones
**Position Type/Expected Hours of Work**
Our core hours are 10:00am to 6:00pm CST, which means you should be available for meetings and collaborations during this time. However, we understand that flexibility is key, and we're open to discussing flexible work arrangements that meet your needs.
