**Key Responsibilities**
As a Remote Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for:
* Managing a significant volume of inbound calls, averaging between 70-120 calls daily, and responding to policyholder inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
* Maintaining effective communication with policyholders, providers, and third parties, ensuring that their needs are met and their concerns are addressed.
* Staying informed about new and updated procedures regarding policy information, and applying this knowledge to provide accurate and up-to-date information to policyholders.
* Ensuring customer needs are met in every interaction, whether conducted via phone, email, or written correspondence, and meeting established department standards for call volume, average call handling time, and effective time management.
* Collaborating with internal teams to resolve complex issues and provide exceptional customer experiences.
**Required Skills**
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information in a clear and concise manner.
* Proficient in basic computer skills and Microsoft Office, with the ability to navigate our customer relationship management (CRM) system and other software applications.
* Strong organizational and time management abilities, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple calls simultaneously.
* Ability to multi-task and perform efficiently under pressure, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences.
* A reliable internet connection with at least 20 Mbps upload and download speed (hard-wired connection is necessary), and a smartphone to access the VPN.
**Qualifications**
To be considered for this role, you will need:
* A minimum of 1 year of experience in a high-volume call center or similar role where daily phone interaction is essential.
* Candidates must be at least 18 years old, and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
* Preference for individuals with remote work experience, although not mandatory.
* A quiet and professional home office environment is required, with minimal distractions and interruptions.
* Experience in the insurance industry is advantageous but not required.
