As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for providing top-notch support to health plan members, providers, and their representatives. You'll work closely with our leadership team to develop and implement strategies that drive success, while maintaining a customer-centric approach that sets us apart from the competition. **Responsibilities** As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you'll have the opportunity to make a real difference in people's lives. Your key responsibilities will include: * Providing exceptional support to health plan members, providers, and their representatives through phone, email, and chat channels * Answering and managing inbound inquiries regarding health plan benefits and claims, eligibility, medical and other healthcare procedures, billing and payments, and other related topics * Conducting outbound and/or return calls to customers, as necessary, to resolve issues and provide additional support * Asking appropriate questions and listening actively to identify specific questions or issues to provide appropriate response and type of assistance the customer needs * Documenting relevant information in a clear and concise manner in computer systems * Communicating and partnering with customers tactfully and empathetically to resolve issues, using clear language to translate healthcare-related jargon and complex processes into simple, step-by-step instructions * Handling and processing customer complaints/grievances while applying appropriate conflict management skills to de-escalate potentially stressful situations * Meeting performance goals established for the position in the areas of efficiency, accuracy, quality, member satisfaction, and attendance **Skills and Qualifications** To succeed in this role, you'll need to possess the following skills and qualifications: * **Customer Service**: Proven experience in providing exceptional customer service in a call center or healthcare setting * **Call Center**: Experience working in a call center environment, with a strong understanding of call center operations and best practices * **Microsoft Office**: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook * **Empathy**: Strong empathy and active listening skills, with the ability to understand and respond to customers' needs * **Phones**: Excellent phone skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally over the phone * **Communication**: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information in a clear and concise manner * **Benefits**: Knowledge of health plan benefits and claims, eligibility, medical and other healthcare procedures, billing and payments, and other related topics * **High Volume**: Ability to work in a high-volume environment, with multiple calls and tasks to manage simultaneously * **Healthcare**: Experience working in a healthcare setting, with a strong understanding of healthcare-related jargon and complex processes **Qualifications** To be considered for this role, you'll need to meet the following qualifications: * **Years of experience**: 1 year of experience in a call center or healthcare setting * **Experience level**: Experienced in providing exceptional customer service and support in a call center or healthcare setting **What We Offer** As a valued member of our team, you'll enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including: * **Competitive pay**: $17-$17.01 per hour, based on experience and qualifications * **Flexible scheduling**: First shift, 8 AM - 8 PM, with opportunities for overtime and flexible scheduling * **Comprehensive benefits**: Health, dental, and vision insurance, as well as a 401K contribution program * **Incentive and recognition program**: Opportunities for recognition and rewards, based on performance and contributions to the team * **Professional development**: Ongoing training and development opportunities, to help you grow and succeed in your career **How to Apply** If you're passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and support, we want to hear from you!
