**The Role**
As a Home Based Sr. Specialist in Collections, you'll be the face of careerzynith, interacting with guests and negotiating bill arrangements for both inbound and outbound collections. You'll provide a personalized, empathetic experience, treating each guest with respect and appreciation. Your expertise will be guided by careerzynith's credit regulations, procedures, and policies, ensuring that you're always up-to-date on the latest developments.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Interact with guests, negotiating bill arrangements for both inbound and outbound collections
* Provide a personalized, empathetic experience, treating each guest with respect and appreciation
* Demonstrate problem-solving skills, probing or making recommendations for handling exceptional account situations (e.g., bankruptcy, CCC, deceased, legal, fraud, billing disputes, etc.)
* Work in a multi-media environment (emails, phone calls, chat messages, and letters) that's fast-paced and dynamic, requiring you to prioritize work accordingly
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve guest issues and provide seamless support
**About You:**
* High School Diploma or GED
* Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
* 1-2 years of previous customer service or guest experience
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including listening, negotiating, and decision-making abilities
* Experience handling escalated guest complaints
* Ability to apply multiple facts and resources to respond to questions, identify issues, and resolve guest problems
* Strong technical skills, ability to work within multiple systems, and high proficiency with PC/Microsoft applications
* Access to a home workspace that's free from noise distractions
* Hardwired internet connection at your home location (using an Ethernet cable to directly connect the Target-issued laptop to the modem or router)
* Meet the minimum bandwidth requirement of 40mbps download/5mbps upload
* Ability to interact through a Target-issued internet digital camera for required meetings, training, and/or interactions
* Ability to securely lift and carry up to 25 pounds of equipment
