**Job Summary**
We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Analyst to join our Business Intelligence and Analytics team. As a Senior Data Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing complex data sets, identifying trends and patterns, and providing actionable insights to drive business growth and decision-making. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement data-driven solutions, and will be instrumental in driving the use of data as a key driver of business success.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Assemble complex data sets, data visualizations, and multi-functional reporting that provides critical support to business operations and decision-making
* Answer business-critical questions and provide expert knowledge on various business streams on D+ and Hulu to improve the customer experience and drive conversions
* Advance the scientific capabilities of the business, collaborate in the design of analytical solutions, and deliver exceptional data insights and products
* Utilize data visualization tools, SQL, and programming languages to access and analyze structured and unstructured data
* Utilize statistical methods (t-test, chi-square, ANOVA, correlation, Regression, Factor Analysis, etc.) to understand customer behavior and preferences, and drive business impact across the organization
**What You'll Bring**
* Unbridled curiosity, high intellectual and scientific strength, and an enthusiastic pursuit of data-driven insights and business results
* A Bachelor's degree in a scientific field (such as mathematics, statistics, computer science, or engineering)
* 3+ years of professional experience as a data analyst in an analytics and data science space with strong SQL, Python, or R skills for complex querying, high-level analysis, performance optimization, and working with data at scale
* Experience delivering end-to-end analysis projects: taking them from unclear requirements, to a compelling story, open across different audiences, and eventually to a clear business outcome
* Excellent communication and interpersonal (written and oral) skills, with the ability to build strong working relationships with colleagues, stakeholders, and technical partners, and to present to senior leadership
**Nice to Haves**
* Master's degree in a scientific field
* Demonstrated data visualization skills with tools such as Matplotlib, Seaborn, Looker, MicroStrategy, Plotly, etc.
* Experience with marketing landing pages, sign-up channels, and business spaces
* Ability to identify and properly escalate issues to management
* Counseling background, MBA, or other multi-industry experience
* Strong motivation and ability to work independently
* Exceptional written and oral communication skills
* Humor and a willingness to have fun
* Unique interests or areas of expertise that impact the way you interact with others and tackle your work
