Our diverse portfolio of businesses includes Disney Entertainment, ESPN, Disney Parks, and Experiences and Products, making us a leading global family entertainment and media company. **Job Summary** We're looking for a talented Data Analyst to join our Studio Research & Analytics team, working closely with the Disney+ Product groups to analyze and synthesize data, and provide support for quantitative and qualitative studies projects for key partners. The primary focus of this role will be on Disney+ Product and Consumer Experience monitoring programs. **Responsibilities** * Assist with a wide range of qualitative and quantitative studies projects, including data collection, extraction, and analysis, as well as data visualization and reporting. * Combine disparate data sources using SQL to support the daily operations of the Disney+ consumer experience monitoring program. * Partner with other teams to conduct studies at Disney, including communicating project goals, business needs, and timelines to ensure effective prioritization, innovation, and optimization of datasets. * Build and maintain relationships with research counterparts within the team and from other divisions of the company, as well as outside vendors. * Analyze and prepare ongoing and ad-hoc reports using quantitative and qualitative data for various agencies within the product marketing, engagement, and product approach of Disney+ and the Disney Streaming Bundle. * Manage assigned projects, implement quality assurance processes, and report project status to supervisor(s) to ensure timely completion. * Work with the Sr. Manager and team to ensure that all results are strategically actionable and drive key decision-making. * Collaborate with the analytics team and other agencies within Snowflake & Databricks. * Maintain up-to-date verbal and written understanding of data sources and requirements. * Respond to critical data requests from internal clients. * Support presentation of findings based on studies conducted and contribute to related business discussions. * Stay at the forefront of SVOD & In-Home business developments amidst a continuously evolving landscape. **Basic Qualifications** * Bachelor's Degree in Business, Statistics, Economics, Psychology, Data Sciences, or related field and 3 years of relevant work experience OR Master's Degree in Business, Statistics, Economics, Psychology, Data Sciences, or related field and 1 year of relevant work experience. * Proficiency with SQL, with the ability to extract and integrate disparate data sources. * Ability to extract data and integrate with other data sources to provide a rich, comprehensive picture for the business. * Strong quantitative reasoning and analytical skills. * Ability to work quickly and accurately in a fast-paced environment. * Outstanding communication and critical thinking skills, as well as the ability to create clear and concise visual presentations. * Strong multitasking skills and the ability to work effectively in an environment of tight timeframes and constant change. **Preferred Qualifications** * Proficiency in data processing tools (e.g. SPSS, Q, MarketSight). * Experience with survey tools (e.g. Decipher, Qualtrics, SurveyMonkey). * Experience working with large datasets and big data technologies, ideally cloud-based, including Snowflake, Databricks, or similar. * Familiarity with R, Python, SAS, STATA, or similar programming languages. * Advanced degree in Market Research or Statistics. * Quantitative research background, either supplier-side or client-side. * Experience with reading survey data to extract actionable insights. * Experience with subscription-based business models and approach. **Compensation and Benefits** * The hiring range for this role is $35 to $45 per hour. * The base pay actually provided will take into account internal fairness and may also vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. * A bonus and/or long-term performance incentive devices may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the entire range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, depending on the level and function provided. **Benefits** * arenaflex offers a competitive overall rewards package that includes pay, health and financial savings benefits, time-off programs, educational opportunities, and more. * We help growth and development for all our personnel & cast through online learning tools and programs designed to foster inclusion. * We believe in giving back to the community and you will find opportunities to volunteer through Disney VoluntEARS. * The Disney Commuter Assistance program helps Disney personnel and cast to find commuter resources, alternatives, and incentives. * Discounts are available at select hotels, dining, products, and project locations. * Flexibility @ Disney is designed to fit your professional and personal needs.
