**Key Responsibilities**
* Execute models, develop tools, and calculations to optimize processes connected with HCB's case environment.
* Identify and measure opportunities for research to improve efficiency and increase automation in claim settlement, and claim modification.
* Creates, approves, and executes calculations and predictive models to research issues, identify patterns, and suggest solutions.
* Investigates, examines, and interprets large volumes of data in various formats.
* Performs analyses of structured and unstructured data to tackle complex business issues.
* Utilizes advanced statistical procedures and numerical analyses.
* Creates data visualizations and pipelines to integrate, collect, and normalize data that produces insights and addresses reporting needs.
* Utilizes data visualization methods to communicate analytical results and support business decisions effectively.
* Develops and assesses the data needs of assigned projects and ensures the integrity of the data.
* Investigates existing data and suggests additional sources of data for enhancements.
**Required Capabilities**
* 2+ years of significant scientific experience
* Experience programming using R or Python
* Experience in SQL
