**Job Summary**
We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Data Analyst to join our Transportation Analytics crew. As a key member of this team, you will be responsible for analyzing large, complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform business decisions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Operations, Finance, and Product, to develop and implement data-driven solutions that drive business growth and improve customer experiences.
**Responsibilities**
As a Full Stack Data Analyst at arenaflex, you will be responsible for:
* **Data Analysis**: Work with large, messy, disparate datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform business decisions. Develop and implement ad-hoc analyses to provide critical information to stakeholders.
* **Data Visualization**: Create impactful Tableau dashboards to display and quantify the effect of modifications and specific business challenges.
* **ETL Development**: Develop Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) processes to pull data from multiple sources and centralize it in a single table.
* **Scripting**: Leverage scripting languages (Python preferred) to automate tasks related to reporting, metrics prioritization, and outlier recognition.
* **Collaboration**: Engage with cross-functional teams, including Operations, Finance, and Product, to establish credibility and provide actionable insights.
* **Documentation**: Document your processes and share your expertise with colleagues. Mentor junior team members as you become a Subject Matter Expert.
**Essential Qualifications**
* **Bachelor's Degree**: A degree in a quantitative field, such as mathematics, statistics, or computer science.
* **SQL Skills**: Excellent SQL skills, with the ability to govern data from multiple tables while maintaining data integrity.
* **Tableau Experience**: Creativity with a User Experience basis to develop impactful Tableau dashboards.
* **Business Operations Fluency**: Ability to recognize and root-cause business problems, with a Supply Chain background and transportation experience.
* **Communication Skills**: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and establish credibility with stakeholders.
**Preferred Qualifications**
* **Advanced SQL and Tableau Experience**: Advanced experience with SQL and Tableau, with a strong understanding of data visualization and business intelligence.
* **E-commerce Operations Experience**: Experience with e-commerce operations or parcel service operations, with a strong understanding of logistics and supply chain management.
* **Scripting Languages**: Experience with scripting languages, such as Python, R, or other languages.
* **Data Manipulation Tools**: Experience with data manipulation tools, including Knime, Alteryx, R, Tableau Prep, etc.
