**Job Summary**
As a Full Stack Data Analyst, you will be responsible for researching, gathering, and analyzing client data to provide actionable insights that drive business decisions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Data Adventures, Walmart Digital Citizenship, Walmart Worldwide Tech, and our product teams, to ensure the accurate and efficient use of data and technology. Your expertise will be instrumental in shaping our products, improving item productivity, and ensuring the security and integrity of our data.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Research, gather, and analyze client data to provide actionable insights that drive business decisions
* Collaborate with business and product partners to tackle complex business problems and identify patterns and opportunities
* Apply mastery in quantitative analysis, data mining, and data visualization to uncover hidden trends and provide significant insights
* Define and assess key performance indicators (KPIs) for new product launches
* Create data visualizations to monitor and measure the impact of product initiatives and business challenges
* Identify new opportunities to improve key financial metrics, understanding underlying drivers for change in metrics
* Lead exploratory data analysis, including hypothesis testing, statistical derivation, and statistical analysis
* Work with data stewards and data engineering teams to collect and handle accurate data from various sources
* Work effectively cross-functionally and communicate data insights to non-technical stakeholders
**Essential Qualifications**
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Statistics, Finance, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field
* 2 years of experience in data analysis, data science, statistics, or related field
* Strong analytical skills and ability to make logical, data-driven recommendations and solutions
* Experience with languages used to control data and extract insights from large datasets (SQL, Python, Presto, etc.)
* Strong storytelling experience with data visualizations in Power BI, Tableau, Looker, etc.
* Experience with data quality tools like Google DataPlex (Collibra Data Quality or SAS Data Management or IBM InfoSphere Data Server)
* Experience with quality testing using Selenium, Cucumber, or Tosca
* Experience in building multi-step ETL jobs/data pipelines and working with workflow management systems
* Experience handling complex data on cloud platforms (Ideally Google Bigquery and Hive)
* Experience with data modeling (E-R) and strong BI concepts
* Fundamental understanding of statistics and AI models
* Related experience in the retail or finance industries
* Strong, persuasive oral and written communication skills and ability to build practical relationships
* Willingness to adapt to changing needs in a fast-paced environment
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Master's degree in Business, Computer Science, Statistics, Finance, Mathematics, or related field
* Experience in data science, data analysis, statistics, or related field
* Experience with data visualization tools like Prophet, Teradata, Hive, AWS Redshift, Sky blue Neurotransmitter Analysis, Snowflake, etc.
* Experience with data quality tools like Collibra Data Quality or SAS Data Management or IBM InfoSphere Data Server
* Experience with data modeling (E-R) and strong BI concepts
* Experience with data visualization tools like Power BI, Tableau, Looker, etc.
