**Job Summary**
We're seeking an experienced Full Stack Data Engineer to join our Data Engineering team at arenaflex. As a Data Engineer, you'll be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, cloud-based data pipelines that support our business operations. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to identify data requirements, design data pipelines, and implement data solutions that meet our business needs.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Design and develop scalable, cloud-based data pipelines using technologies such as Snowflake, PostgreSQL, and Python
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data requirements and design data pipelines that meet business needs
* Develop and maintain ETL/ELT data pipelines, data set designs, and data visualization strategies
* Work with data scientists and analysts to deliver datasets as input to science models and visualizations
* Develop and maintain automated workflows and schedulers to ensure data pipeline efficiency and reliability
* Collaborate with DevOps teams to ensure code organization, development, and deployment best practices
* Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in data engineering and cloud computing
**Essential Qualifications**
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field
* 2+ years of experience in ELT/ETL data pipeline development and support
* Proficiency in Python and SQL (ideally with Snowflake)
* Experience with cloud-based data platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, or similar
* Strong understanding of data set design and capabilities
* Experience working with large datasets and big data technologies
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Experience working with cloud-based design and product offerings, ideally AWS
* Experience managing and deploying code using a source control tool like GitLab/GitHub
* Experience using Docker
* Experience working with data visualization tools and technologies
* Strong understanding of data governance and compliance regulations
