**About the Role**
As a Full Stack Data Scientist at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for developing and implementing data-driven solutions that drive business growth and improve customer experiences. You'll work closely with our cross-functional teams to identify business opportunities, develop data-driven insights, and implement solutions that drive results. Your expertise will be essential in shaping the future of retail, and you'll have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects that impact our business and customers.
**Key Responsibilities**
* **Data Source Identification**: Identify and extract relevant data sources, define data requirements, and perform preliminary data quality checks to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
* **Problem Formulation**: Analyze business problems, identify key drivers, and develop data-driven solutions that drive business growth and improve customer experiences.
* **Analytical Modeling**: Develop and implement analytical models that drive business insights and inform decision-making. This includes selecting suitable modeling strategies, developing variables and functions, and conducting exploratory data analysis.
* **Model Deployment & Scaling**: Work with MLOps to deploy models to production, continuously log and track model performance, and identify areas for improvement.
* **Code Development & Testing**: Write code to develop and deploy data-driven solutions, create test cases to validate proposed solutions, and contribute to code documentation and knowledge sharing.
* **Applied Business Acumen**: Evaluate business cases, influence stakeholder decision-making, and translate business needs into data-driven solutions that drive business growth and improve customer experiences.
* **Model Assessment & Validation**: Identify and evaluate model assessment metrics, apply appropriate testing and tuning strategies, and ensure testing records are documented and maintained.
* **Data Visualization and Storytelling**: Develop compelling stories and visualizations that communicate complex data insights to stakeholders, and guide junior team members on data visualization best practices.
**What You'll Bring**
* Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
* 4+ years of experience in an analytics-related field, with a strong background in data science and analytics
* Deep knowledge of machine learning, statistics, and data science in general
* Strong programming skills in Python or R, with experience in data manipulation, analysis, and visualization
* Ability to execute projects from start to finish, including junior team members
* Experience with MLOps, coding standards, and data quality best practices
* Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex algorithm evaluations into simple language
* Ability to work with cross-functional teams, including business, product, and application partners
