**Job Summary**
We're seeking an experienced Full Stack Java Software Engineer to join our Customer Systems Development team. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable and efficient software solutions that meet the needs of our customers. You'll work closely with our business stakeholders, application owners, and other engineers to deliver high-quality software that exceeds expectations.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Design, develop, and deploy scalable and efficient software solutions using Java and Java-based technologies
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize software requirements
* Develop and maintain high-quality software code that meets arenaflex's coding standards and best practices
* Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve code quality and efficiency
* Troubleshoot and resolve software issues in a timely and efficient manner
* Develop and maintain technical documentation and knowledge base articles
* Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, and apply that knowledge to improve arenaflex's software solutions
**Essential Qualifications**
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
* 2+ years of experience in Java development, with a focus on backend systems and APIs
* Strong understanding of Java-based technologies, including Spring, REST, and multi-threading
* Experience with database design and data access technologies, including SQL and NoSQL databases
* Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex software issues
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
* Experience with agile development methodologies and version control systems, such as Git
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
* 5+ years of experience in Java development, with a focus on backend systems and APIs
* Experience with cloud-based technologies, including AWS or Azure
* Experience with containerization and orchestration, including Docker and Kubernetes
* Strong understanding of artificial intelligence and machine learning concepts and technologies
* Experience with DevOps practices and tools, including continuous integration and continuous deployment
