**Job Summary**
We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our Bookkeeping team on a full-time, remote basis. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for planning and preparing financial reports, ensuring the accuracy and transparency of our financial statements, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive business objectives. **Key Responsibilities**
* Plan and prepare financial reports, including journal entries and monthly account reconciliations for specific areas of the general ledger
* Be a key owner of the monthly close cycle for arenaflex and external entities for explicitly assigned functional areas
* Ensure financial records are maintained for Management and GAAP Combined financial summaries using accepted methodologies
* Assist in providing expectations to external auditors on annual reviews and quarterly surveys
* Communicate with FP&A, functional partners, and external parties regarding significant accounting matters
* Conduct special investigations and projects to further our cycle improvement initiatives
**What We're Looking For**
* Self-motivated and independent individual with the ability to think freely, innovatively, and entrepreneurially
* "Make it happen" attitude with the ability to handle pressure well and be modest and resilient
* Sharp business acumen and process-oriented
* Data-driven and unafraid to go down to the lowest level of detail for truth and high level of accuracy
* Excellent communication, oral, and written skills, including strong proficiency in English
* Strong analytical and time management skills
* 2+ years of relevant accounting experience
* Strong knowledge of US GAAP, PCAOB principles, SOX/internal controls
* Experience with NetSuite, Coupa, GSuite preferred
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, CPA certification an asset
* Strong spreadsheet skills, with the ability to manage and process large amounts of data
