We're now seeking an experienced Full Stack Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join our team and help us drive our data center operations and cloud security initiatives forward.
**About the Role:**
As a Senior Infrastructure Engineer at arenaflex, you'll play a critical role in designing, building, and maintaining our data center infrastructure. You'll be responsible for ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of our data center operations, as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and improvement. Your expertise will be essential in helping us navigate the complexities of cloud security, data center management, and IT infrastructure.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Lead or participate in high-level technical discussions covering technology and business
* Develop specifications for complex infrastructure frameworks, design and test solutions
* Contribute to the testing of business, application, and technical system requirements
* Drive solutions to reduce recovery time
* Audit and analyze solutions for cloud security, secrets management, and key turns
* Configure, code, test, troubleshoot, and report programs using Agile development practices
* Plan complex system upgrades
* Resolve problematic trends as they arise
* Develop a long-term plan to address issues and prevent them from recurring
* Direct the daily risk and control stream of tasks, focusing on approaches, techniques, and work guidelines to ensure a positive outcome
* Collaborate and communicate with peers, partners, and executives to resolve issues and achieve objectives
**Required Capabilities:**
* 4+ years of Infrastructure Designing and Solutions experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education
* 4+ years of data center experience
**Desired Capabilities:**
* Experience supporting technology at an enterprise level
* Familiarity with server, storage, compute, and network equipment
* Familiarity with Layer 1 Network Design
* Broad knowledge of data center operations (space, power, cooling, and network)
* In-depth knowledge and understanding of IPv4 and IPv6 subnetting and VLAN advancements to perform FQDN generation and tasks
* Ability to communicate effectively at different levels of the business and technical organizations, including management
* Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
* Precise attention to detail and strong organizational skills
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
**Work Assumptions:**
* Ability to work extended hours, weekends, and holidays as needed
* Adaptability to work in a 24/7 environment
* Ability to lift 50+ pounds
