As a Senior Manager of Self-Service Engineering, you will be part of a collaborative and dynamic team that is passionate about making a difference in the industry. **Key Responsibilities:** * Lead and coach a team of Lead and Senior designers in delivering high-quality products, ensuring consistency, quality, and timeliness. * Establish and advance a workplace culture that fosters design excellence, innovation, and growth. * Collaborate with product management and marketing teams to develop the product vision and strategy. * Foster the innovation roadmap for products in your area of responsibility, ensuring security, reliability, and scalability. * Drive the development of policies, procedures, and standards for building and supporting IT products. * Establish project plans, designs, and integration plans, as well as guide the software development performed by team members. * Responsible for creating, maintaining, and reporting a financial and resource plan for your area of responsibility. * Serve as the escalation point for functional support to assigned portfolio applications with continuous availability. * Oversee production and non-production environments through change control management. * Ensure work practices comply with all regulatory, security, and administrative requirements. * Collaborate with other Designing Managers to ensure alignment and drive efficiencies. * Play a critical role in driving and training direct team members as well as indirect Crewmembers to support the commitment, growth, and development of the Progression plan for the IT division. * Perform other duties as assigned. **Essential Qualifications:** * Bachelor's degree in a related field; or equivalent experience and skills. * Active involvement in Java, AngularJS, and NodeJS. * Working knowledge of distributed computing: Sky blue, GCP, or AWS. * Available for moderate temporary travel (up to 35%). * Possess valid travel documents with the ability to travel throughout the US. * Willing to work flexible hours and be available for emergency response without prior notice. * Pass a pre-employment drug test. * Legally qualified to work in the country in which the position is located. * Approval to work in the US is required; this position is not eligible for visa sponsorship. **Preferred Qualifications:** * Experience managing a budget. * Experience managing a full project or initiative, including presenting recommendations to senior leadership. * Comprehensive knowledge of business capabilities and careful knowledge of business activities, targets, and strategies. * Openness to arenaflex's IT disciplines and interdependencies and how their needs drive IT strategy. * Crewmember Assumptions: + Regular attendance and punctuality. + Likely need to work flexible hours and be available to respond without prior notice. + Willing to maintain a professional appearance. + While working or traveling on arenaflex flights, and if time allows, all skilled crewmembers are expected to assist with light cleaning of the aircraft. + Should be a suitable organizational fit for the arenaflex culture, or at least, demonstrate the arenaflex values of Security, Mindful, Respectability, Enthusiasm, and Fun. + Should meet security responsibilities as recommended by arenaflex's Health Management Framework. **Distinguish Health or Security Concerns:** * Identify health or security concerns, issues, incidents, or risks that should be reported and report them immediately and without hesitation, including arenaflex's confidential reporting frameworks (Aviation Health Activity Program (AHP) and Health Activity Report (SAR)). * Liable for complying with every material regulation, guidelines (FAA, OSHA, Dab, etc.) and arenaflex strategies, systems, and risk controls. * Maintain arenaflex's health performance metric objectives and understand how they relate to their responsibilities and obligations. **What We Offer:** * Competitive salary: $25/hour. * Opportunities for career growth and professional development. * Collaborative and dynamic work environment. * Recognition and rewards for outstanding performance. * Comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance. * 401(k) retirement plan with company match. * Paid time off and holidays. * Access to arenaflex's state-of-the-art technology and tools. * Opportunities to work on exciting and challenging projects. * Collaborative and supportive team environment. **How to Apply:** If you are a motivated and experienced professional with a passion for software engineering, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
