**Job Summary**
As a Senior Product Design Supervisor II at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for leading a team of designers and engineers to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet the needs of our customers. You'll work closely with our product teams to understand customer needs and develop innovative solutions that meet those needs. You'll also be responsible for mentoring and developing the skills of your team members, and for ensuring that our software solutions are delivered on time and within budget.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Collaborate with product teams to understand customer needs and develop innovative solutions that meet those needs
* Lead a team of designers and engineers to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet the needs of our customers
* Mentor and develop the skills of your team members
* Ensure that our software solutions are delivered on time and within budget
* Work closely with our UX leadership peers and UX supervisor to craft a vision and strategy for the team
* Partner with product friends, UX leadership peers, and UX supervisor to create roadmaps and prioritize alignment
* Interview and empathize with users to understand how our products are performing
* "Walk a mile" in the shoes of our users to better understand their daily reports and pain factors
* Lead design thinking sports and enable collaborative questioning across your peers
* Push boundaries on your team's workstreams and products
* Pressure experience method and innovation through oversight of the introduction of enterprise, purchaser, and partner product stories
* Suppose holistically and systematically – about the human beings using our products, a cohesive design system, and quit to cease reports
* Remedy complex troubles through formulating venture wishes and measures of success
* Lead a dynamic design group to guide the developing needs of the operation, developing top-notch skills by using training, coping with, and mentoring a group of designers
* Journey to other arenaflex workplaces to foster collaboration (20% tour)
**Essential Qualifications**
* A strong portfolio of design work that demonstrates your ability to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet the needs of our customers
* A passion for delivering high-quality software solutions that meet the needs of our customers
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills
* Strong leadership and mentoring skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects
* Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively
* Experience with agile development methodologies and tools
* Strong understanding of software development principles and practices
* Experience with cloud-based technologies and platforms
* Strong understanding of web development principles and practices
* Experience with design thinking and human-centered design methodologies
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Design certification (e.g. IDEOU – Foundations in Design Thinking Certificates)
* Experience with product development in a user-centered design environment
* Master's degree in UI/UX design, interactive and visual design, product design, or related field
* Related business experience (e.g. retail, supply chain, e-commerce, healthcare)
* UI/UX, interactive and visual design, electronics art, multimedia design, or related experience
* Experience with design tools and software (e.g. Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud)
