**The Role:**
As a Technical Specialist – Datacom and Video Distribution, you'll play a critical role in supporting the arenaflex team in delivering top-notch solutions to our clients. Your primary responsibilities will include:
* Providing expert-level technical support for datacom and video distribution systems, including troubleshooting, maintenance, and upgrades
* Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and test new solutions
* Developing and maintaining technical documentation, including user guides, technical notes, and best practices
* Conducting site visits and on-site support to ensure seamless system operation and optimal performance
* Participating in training and knowledge-sharing sessions to stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry trends
* Identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing changes to enhance efficiency and productivity
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Provide expert-level technical support for datacom and video distribution systems, including troubleshooting, maintenance, and upgrades

**Essential Qualifications:**
* Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as computer science, engineering, or telecommunications
* 3+ years of experience in datacom and video distribution, with a focus on technical support and system administration
* Strong knowledge of datacom and video distribution protocols, including TCP/IP, UDP, and RTP
* Experience with network management systems, such as SNMP and NetFlow
* Familiarity with video distribution technologies, including H.264, H.265, and JPEG 2000
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
**Preferred Qualifications:**
* Master's degree in a relevant field, such as computer science, engineering, or telecommunications
* 5+ years of experience in datacom and video distribution, with a focus on technical support and system administration
* Experience with cloud-based platforms, such as AWS or Azure
* Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools, such as Jenkins and Docker
* Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices
* Experience with data analytics and visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI
