As a Full Stack Technical Specialist - Datacom, you will be an integral part of our team, working closely with our clients to design, implement, and maintain their telecom infrastructure. **Key Responsibilities** As a Full Stack Technical Specialist - Datacom, you will be responsible for: * Providing top-notch support to the WDW Telecom services program * Offering hands-on assistance for interactive installations, server upgrades, video installations, crisis maintenance, and blackout resolution * Providing local support to clients and ensuring the functional support of the experience environment to maintain SLAs and Disney standards * Preparing and presenting metrics on uptime, usage, trends, and opportunities * Ensuring telecom network maintains software and security funds * Managing substitution and backup parts for all installations * Providing level 2 support for the break/fix of any Telecom services devices followed through Assistance NOW * Responsible for maintaining and supporting Video Head End IP, RF QAM, and transcoding video * Collaborating with Resort Designing Group, FAM, OSI, and WDI * Assisting on software patches and updates * Providing oversight of local delivery of consumables by merchants * Collaborating with other DPEP groups and service providers to provide efficient technical solutions * Oversight of the device refresh and recycling programs * Conducting in-depth investigations with field specialists * Managing vendor relationships **Essential Qualifications** * 3+ years in the AV/Innovation Industry * 3+ years network exchanging and directing experience * Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, SAP Work environment, and Assistance NOW * Strong understanding of different video and sound merchant applications (Sonify, QSC, Crestron, IOT, Synamedia, Genetec, SevOne, Forward Organizations, Splunk, Zabbix, Infoblox, etc.) * Strong understanding and experience in commercial video distribution support, sustainment, and execution * Demonstrated ability to manage escalations and blackouts * Strong knowledge of network security principles and industry best practices * Knowledge of investigation and reporting tools like Scene, Power BI * Shown strong hierarchical and time management abilities * Able to meet designated deadlines and manage competing needs * Shown strong written and verbal communication skills * Eagerness to learn new software applications * Ability to work on Saturday or Sunday as well as nighttime as required by client and business interest * Self-motivated and inspired * Demonstrated ability to manage escalations and blackouts * Moderate experience in network exchanging and steering * Interest in, and knowledge of, interactive and video systems and solutions * Demonstrated success working with a range of partners **Preferred Qualifications** * 3+ years in the AV or innovation Industry, experience with video distribution, encoding, sound mixes, and IOT devices * 3+ years network exchanging and directing experience **Education** * Bachelor's Degree in software engineering, video technology, data systems, engineering, mathematics, data analysis, or other related logical or technical discipline desired * Or, equivalent certifications or potentially comparable work experience **Preferred Education** * Various security and organization certifications **Licenses/Training** * Vendor-related certifications and training (QSC, Synamedia, Cisco, etc.) **Job Benefits** * Remote Work Flexibility: As a remote full-time employee, you can enjoy the flexibility of working from your preferred location.
