**Key Responsibilities**
As an Insurance Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for handling property & casualty (p&c) related customer service and/or billing inquiries and problems via the telephone. Your key responsibilities will include:
* Contacting policyholders from our existing book of business through inbound/outbound telephone calls, direct mail, and email to review policies prior to renewal
* Reviewing and updating policies to enhance retention and better meet the needs of the consumer
* Counseling policyholders concerning appropriate coverage, policy limits, payment options, and state laws that will best meet their needs for sufficient protection against risks covered by Property and Casualty insurance
* Making recommendations and/or changes to the policy and gaining policyholder acceptance to process the changes
* Receiving and responding to calls and emails received by the insurance service center, documenting all activity in EPIC
* Utilizing knowledge of the insurance industry and club insurance agency policies and procedures to provide efficient and professional customer service
* Providing quotes on endorsements as requested
* Identifying opportunities to apply discounts, processing insurance verification forms for insured, and acting as a liaison for information exchange between customers and insurance companies
* Processing changes to policies within EPIC and submitting changes to specific companies, following up with the company to ensure change requests have been processed in a timely manner
* Reviewing policy information and referencing company-specific claims procedures to assist insured in filing claims
* Mailing insured documentation to be signed and returned as necessary, following up to ensure documentation has been returned in a timely manner from member/customer
* Recognizing cross-sell opportunities (membership and insurance) and obtaining quote information

**What We Need from You**
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
* A high school diploma or equivalent and 3+ years of increasingly complex customer service experience in an insurance environment
* Property and Casualty insurance license required
* Membership license preferred and/or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment
