**Job Summary**
We're seeking an experienced IT Operations Manager to join our AWS IT Services Support team, which provides highly-available IT support for arenaflex employees worldwide. As an IT Operations Manager, you'll be responsible for managing local and/or remote resources, assisting the global organization in defining the perfect customer experience, and owning the strategies to create that experience.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Manage local and/or remote resources to ensure seamless IT support for arenaflex employees worldwide
* Assist the global organization in defining the perfect customer experience and own the strategies to create that experience
* Help the group develop and leverage their knowledge base to expedite the resolution of recurrent issues
* Identify ways to proactively reduce requests through automation, documentation, and process improvement
* Set high standards for issue handling, escalation, and problem management across the organization
* Guide the team with metrics and goals that clearly measure their success
**Essential Qualifications**
* 5 years of experience developing a team of technical professionals across multiple locations
* 2 years of experience leading technology teams as an IT Operations Manager
* Bachelor's degree, or 4 years of professional or military experience
* Knowledge of Linux or Unix systems administration
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Experience working in a cloud-based environment
* Familiarity with AWS services and tools
* Strong leadership and management skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
