Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized and experienced SPANISH speaking (5+ years required) Loan Officer Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the loan assistant & processing cycle, ensuring that all documentation is accurate and compliant with industry regulations. You will be fully responsible and must be highly seasoned at correctly structuring mortgages with various lenders. Vast UWM experience of 3 years or more is required. You must be solutions focused with a passion to close deals and help more families. You will be reporting directly to the president and branch owner for their own personal production.
This position requires a strong understanding of financial services and the ability to work collaboratively with loan officers, clients, and realtors to facilitate smooth transactions. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing a large pipeline under direction of multiple LOs in a fast-paced environment. You will be a key player in ensuring a smooth and efficient loan process while maintaining excellent communication and customer service.

Duties
• Take complete and accurate loan applications. Review and verify loan details, ensuring all necessary documentation is complete.
• Conduct credit analysis to assess the financial viability of applicants.
• Proficiently and swiftly structure files to best serve clients interest
• Maintain compliance with TILA (Truth in Lending Act) and Fair Housing regulations throughout the loan process.
• Pleasantly communicate with clients and referral partners at all times.
• Receive, organize, and review all required customer documentation.
• Understand the Processing of mortgage loans from initial application through closing.
• Communicate effectively and proactively with borrowers, real estate agents, underwriting, and the closing department.
• Maintain a positive, happy, and pleasing attitude throughout the process, even when diffusing difficult situations.
• Ensure all processing and contract deadlines and requirements are met.
• Collaborate closely with Loan Originators and Underwriters.
• Stay updated on all relevant guidelines and regulations.
• Communicate effectively with clients, providing updates on loan status and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
• Collaborate with loan officers to streamline processes and improve customer satisfaction.
• Be dynamic and welcome change of roles and processes at anytime.
Qualifications
• 5+ years of recent experience as a mortgage Loan Processor is required.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience with loans specifically with United Wholesale Mortgage (UWM) is required.
• Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
• Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to professionally and calmly handle challenging situations.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in mortgage processing software and systems, mainly Arive LOS.
• Thorough understanding of the entire mortgage loan process from application to closing.
• "Can-do" attitude and a strong work ethic.
• Familiarity with FNMA (Federal National Mortgage Association) guidelines is a plus.
• Proficient in basic math skills for calculating loan amounts, interest rates, and payments.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail to ensure accuracy in documentation.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective client interaction.

Pay: $58,300.00 - $74,326.00 per year
