Job Summary
We're seeking an experienced Manager State & Higher Education to join our Southwest Business Department, where you'll coach and help to professionally develop Field Government Account Managers and designated portfolio management. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for increasing sales, establishing formal partnerships, and broadening awareness of arenaflex corporate travel programs and services to State, Local, and Higher Education managed travel accounts. Key ResponsibilitiesKey Responsibilities
As a Manager State & Higher Education at arenaflex, you'll have the following key responsibilities:
- Coach and professionally develop Field Government Account Managers and designated portfolio management to achieve sales growth and increase awareness of arenaflex corporate travel programs and services.
- Identify and develop strategic partnerships with State, Local, and Higher Education managed travel accounts to increase sales and expand arenaflex's presence in the market.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to increase revenue and market share in the SLED managed travel accounts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address customer needs, develop solutions, and implement sales strategies.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance, identifying areas for improvement and developing plans to address gaps.
- Provide training and support to Field Government Account Managers to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed in their roles.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including State, Local, and Higher Education officials, to promote arenaflex's corporate travel programs and services.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor activity, and market developments to inform sales strategies and ensure arenaflex remains competitive.
- Contribute to the development of arenaflex's overall business strategy, providing insights and recommendations to inform decision-making.
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you'll need to have the following essential qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in sales, account management, or a related field, with a proven track record of success in developing and executing sales strategies.
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers, partners, and stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze complex data, identify trends, and develop insights to inform sales strategies.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and teamwork.
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications would be beneficial in this role:
- Masters degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Experience working in the travel industry, with a focus on corporate travel programs and services.
- Knowledge of industry trends, competitor activity, and market developments.
- Experience with sales force automation tools and CRM systems.
- Ability to travel up to 20% of the time, with occasional overnight stays.

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits
As a Manager State & Higher Education at arenaflex, you'll receive a competitive salary and benefits package, including:
- Base salary: $80,000 - $100,000 per year, depending on experience.
