You'll work closely with registered nurses, coding professionals, and billing professionals to ensure that our clients receive the reimbursement they're entitled to. This is a hybrid position that requires a mix of remote and in-office work, with a 2/3 days on/off schedule. • *Key Responsibilities** • Project associate-related duties, including: + Retrieving patient medical records from various hospital systems + Generating and preparing patient itemized bills in appropriate formats for internal and external audits + Extracting and entering necessary information from/to hospital patient accounting systems + Making phone calls to post-acute healthcare facilities to obtain information needed on patients + Running and creating reports + Assisting with any other information gathering or data entry as needed by the recovery team + Scanning and indexing of documents • Data analysis and entry • Communication with healthcare professionals and facilities • Collaboration with the recovery team to ensure seamless project execution • *Essential Qualifications** • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred • 1-2 years of experience in a medical records or data entry role • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel • Experience with hospital patient accounting systems and medical records software a plus • *Preferred Qualifications** • Experience in healthcare revenue integrity or medical records management • Certification in medical records or a related field (e.g., RHIT, RHIA) • Familiarity with electronic health records (EHRs) and practice management systems • Strong attention to detail and accuracy • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Strong organizational and time management skills • *Skills and Competencies** • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel • Experience with hospital patient accounting systems and medical records software • Strong attention to detail and accuracy • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Strong organizational and time management skills • *Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At arenaflex, we're committed to helping our employees grow and develop their careers.
