McLaren Health Plan is dedicated to meeting the healthcare needs of our Michigan members, while MDwise works with the State of Indiana and Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services to bring you the Hoosier Healthwise and Healthy Indiana Plan health insurance programs. **Job Summary** As a Medicare Outreach Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for delivering high-quality service to our members, promoting healthy lifestyles, and establishing strong relationships with healthcare providers and community agencies. You'll work closely with our Customer Service department to support the Medicare Stars Program and contribute to the growth and success of our organization. **Key Responsibilities** * Deliver exceptional customer service to our members, responding to their inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner * Educate and network with people of diverse backgrounds and cultures on our products and programs, promoting healthy lifestyles and attracting and retaining membership in the Plan * Establish and maintain relationships with healthcare providers and community agencies to promote the Plan's presence in the community * Track and trend HEDIS or Medicare Stars rates, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to enhance quality and performance * Foster positive outcomes for members and providers, ensuring that our services meet their needs and exceed their expectations * Collaborate with the Customer Service department to support the Medicare Stars Program and contribute to the growth and success of our organization **Essential Qualifications** * High School Diploma or equivalent educational certification * Two (2) years' experience in a customer service-related position * Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously * Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications **Preferred Qualifications** * Associate Degree in healthcare administration, communication, marketing, or a related field * One year experience in a community-focused outreach position * NCQA experience specific to HEDIS measurement * In-depth understanding of claims administration, including CPT-4 codes, revenue codes, HCPCS codes, DRGs, etc. **Skills and Competencies** * Strong customer service skills, with the ability to respond to member inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance quality and performance * Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At arenaflex, we're committed to helping our employees grow and develop their careers.
