About the Role
As a Mentor Data Analyst, you will be responsible for guiding and advising students on a weekly basis through their training programs. You will be a role model and share your industry know-how with students, inspiring them with your advice and experience in your field. Your main tasks during weekly meetings will be to:
- Guide and advise your students in the completion of the projects within their training program.
- Inspire your students with your advice and experience in your field.
- Monitor your students' progress throughout the mentoring sessions.
- Report problems and difficulties related to your students.
Experience and Skills Required
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in data analysis and a passion for mentoring. The following skills and qualifications are required:
- A bachelor's degree and at least 2 years of professional experience as a Data Analyst.
- Proficiency in Python or R programming languages.
- Experience in gathering data, standardizing it while maintaining its integrity, and interpreting data, identifying trends, and helping others make sense of it.
- Experience in presenting data, creating dashboards, visualizations, and written reports, as well as analyzing data to support decision-making and improve the company's strategy.
- The ability to simplify complex concepts, set objectives, and give constructive feedback.
- A company structure or a freelance status (registered in your country of residence) or a willingness to create one.
