**Responsibilities**
As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for:
* Assisting Dayton Freight customers with a variety of inquiries, including freight pickup requests, rate quotes, freight charges, hot shipments, shipment tracing, and appointments or special requests.
* Providing assistance to Drivers, including taking and delivering messages for the Service Center Manager and Account Managers.
* Preparing bills of lading and delivery receipts.
* Maintaining excellent communication with external and internal customers, as well as interline companies.
* Assisting with various tasks, such as payroll, data entry, freight reports, driver collect reports, and billing and filling.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Provide exceptional customer service to Dayton Freight customers, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
* Assist the Service Center Manager and Account Managers with various tasks, including taking and delivering messages.
* Prepare bills of lading and delivery receipts, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
* Maintain excellent communication with external and internal customers, as well as interline companies.

**Qualifications**
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
* Skillful in Microsoft Office Programs, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
* Excellent keyboarding skills, with the ability to type accurately and efficiently.
* Experience working in a fast-paced environment, with excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask.
* Experience handling a high volume of phone calls, with exceptional communication and customer service skills.
* Ability to work in a team environment, providing support and assistance to colleagues as needed.
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Previous experience in a customer service or operations support role.

**Shift Availability**
