As a remote employee, you'll enjoy the flexibility to work from the comfort of your own home while still being part of a collaborative and supportive team. **Key Responsibilities** As a Remote Data Entry Operator, you'll be responsible for: * Establishing and maintaining utility accounts with a high degree of accuracy and speed * Verifying account eligibility and accessibility to ensure seamless customer service * Preparing, distributing, and completing work orders in a timely manner * Preparing files for mass customer communications, including mailing billing statements and other notices generated in-house * Scanning or retaining documents as required * Performing monthly audits of incomplete account transfer requests to ensure data integrity * Entering data into Key Performance Indicator tracking databases to inform business decisions * Performing other related duties as assigned by the team lead **Essential Qualifications** To be successful in this role, you'll need: * A High School Diploma or an acceptable equivalency diploma (GED) * Two (2) years of experience as a high-volume data entry operator or typist * Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and data entry software * Strong typing and accuracy skills, with the ability to meet or exceed industry standards * Ability to pass computer skills, typing, and accuracy testing for consideration * Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team **Preferred Qualifications** While not required, we prefer candidates with: * An Associate's degree in business administration, data entry, or a related field * Two (2) years of experience as a high-volume data entry operator or typist * Additional certifications or training in data entry, customer service, or a related field **Skills and Competencies** To succeed in this role, you'll need: * Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills * Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment * Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with customers and colleagues * Ability to learn and adapt to new software and systems quickly * Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot issues and resolve conflicts * Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong sense of accountability and responsibility **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At arenaflex, we're committed to helping our employees grow and develop their skills.
