As a Patient Billing Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you will be part of a dynamic team that is committed to excellence in customer service, innovation, and continuous improvement. You will play a vital role in resolving patient billing inquiries, initiating payment plans, and providing exceptional support to patients, doctor's offices, and private insurance carriers.
**Responsibilities:**
* Answer 80+ inbound calls per day from patients, doctor's offices, and/or private insurance carriers, providing empathetic and solution-focused support.
* Initiate payment plans for patients with outstanding balances, ensuring timely resolution and minimizing financial stress.
* Utilize multiple resources to resolve patient inquiries while on the phone, demonstrating expertise and a commitment to customer satisfaction.
* Maintain performance goals, meeting or exceeding targets in a fast-paced environment.
* Complete a structured training program to become proficient with processes and systems.
**Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:**

* Attention to detail, with a strong emphasis on accuracy and precision.
* Excellent organization skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.

**Qualifications:**
* High School Diploma or equivalent required.
* Minimum 1+ year work experience required, with a focus on customer service, medical billing, insurance claims, EOB, call center, or fast-paced environments.
* Previous work in high-volume call centers with multiple computer windows open is highly desirable.
* Previous interaction and communication with patients regarding medical information is strongly preferred.
**Technical and Other Requirements:**
* Internet download speed of at least 50 megabytes per second connectivity required for remote work.
* Dedicated area to perform duties without interference, with structured breaks and a focus on productivity.
* Ability to manage time and tasks independently, with a strong emphasis on meeting productivity targets.

**Pay Range:**
* $15.25-16.00 or State/Local minimum wage, if higher.

**Shift and Schedule:**
* The shift for this position will be Monday-Friday; 11am-8pm (EST), which is 10am-7pm CST and 9am-6pm (MST) and 8am-5 pm (PST).
* 10% Shift Differential for residents in eastern time zone.
