**Job Summary**
As an Experienced Pharmacy Technician – Data Entry & Customer Service (2nd Shift) On-Site Full Time, you will be responsible for performing order entry tasks, collaborating with other team members in the medication dispensing process, and providing exceptional customer service to our patients and customers. You will work in a closed-door pharmacy environment, where you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of others.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Perform order entry tasks and collaborate with other team members in the medication dispensing process
* Provide exceptional customer service to patients and customers, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner
* Triage customer service requests by department, urgency, and information/response required
* Calculate and/or verify correct dosage based on prescriptions
* Assist in reviewing narcotic Rx's in a timely manner
* Provide dispensing pharmacist with information regarding allergies and drug interactions, therapeutic duplications, and other items that the computer flags
* Create and maintain accurate customer records

**Required Qualifications**
* Certification/licensed/registered pharmacy technician or as required by state law
* One (1) or more years of experience as a pharmacy technician
* Verifiable High School Diploma or GED
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Prior experience in the long-term care industry
* PTCB National Certification
