**Job Summary**
As an Experienced Pharmacy Technician – Data Entry Specialist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our pharmacy team, ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our data entry processes, and contributing to the overall success of our Specialty Mail Request group. **Key Responsibilities**
* Assist pharmacy team members in processing and verifying prescriptions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements
* Utilize exceptional data entry skills to support the pharmacy team, maintaining high levels of accuracy and efficiency
* Communicate effectively with doctors, insurance agencies, and other stakeholders to resolve issues and ensure seamless care coordination
* Collaborate with the pharmacy team to resolve complex cases, providing expert guidance and support
* Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction, ensuring that patients receive exceptional care and service
* Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge
* Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment, promoting a culture of collaboration and excellence
**Essential Qualifications**
* Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., pharmacy, healthcare administration, or a related field)
* 2+ years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician, with a strong background in data entry and pharmacy operations
* Pharmacy Technician certification in the state of GA (or equivalent)
* Public Pharmacy Technician certification (or equivalent)
* Excellent data entry skills, with the ability to maintain high levels of accuracy and efficiency
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and team collaboration
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Specialty pharmacy experience, with a strong understanding of complex medication management and care coordination
* Experience with prescription settlement, including communication with prescribers and resolution of case status and solution guarantee issues
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and resolve complex issues
* Experience with electronic health records (EHRs) and other healthcare technology systems
* Certification in pharmacy technology or a related field (e.g., Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT))
