**Job Summary**
As a Phone and Chat Specialist, you'll be responsible for verifying nurses' credentials, following up with them via written messages, and handling phone calls to confirm shift availability. You'll work closely with our team to ensure that our healthcare professionals have the support they need to succeed. **Responsibilities**
* Manage large volumes of inbound and outbound calls in a timely manner, ensuring that our healthcare professionals receive the support they need
* Navigate multiple chat channels simultaneously, providing prompt and accurate responses to customer inquiries
* Follow established communication scripts to handle different topics and ensure consistency in our customer interactions
* Identify customers' needs, clarify information, research, and provide solutions and/or alternatives to meet their requirements
* Access company and client resources to accurately handle calls and provide exceptional customer service
* Perform data entry and customer service skills to ensure seamless communication and record-keeping
* Be able to navigate online efficiently, accessing relevant information and resources to support our healthcare professionals
* Work requests/records received for those requesting to sign up for a shift, verifying credentials and providing updates as needed
* Skillfully transition between tasks without loss of efficiency or composure, ensuring that our customers receive the highest level of service
* Maintain punctuality and attendance at all scheduled times, ensuring that our team is always available to support our healthcare professionals
* Remain positive and professional in all customer interactions, providing a exceptional experience for our healthcare professionals and facilities
**Qualifications**
* 1 year of customer service or customer support experience, with a proven track record of providing exceptional customer service
* 1 year of previous call center or office background experience, with a strong understanding of customer service principles and practices
* Technical savvy, with a strong understanding of technology and its applications in customer service
* Previous remote work from home experience a plus, with a proven ability to work independently and manage time effectively
* Quick learner, with a strong ability to adapt to new technologies and processes
* Type 35 words per minute accurately, with strong typing skills and attention to detail
* Strong phone and verbal communication skills, with active listening and problem-solving abilities
* A background check applicable with state and federal laws, ensuring that our team is safe and secure

**Compensation and Benefits**
* Starting pay: $14/hour, plus shift differential (extra $1/hr nights & wkds) and possible increase after 90 days pending attendance and performance
* Work hours: Shifts between 7:00am-7:00pm (CST), with rotating weekends
* Paid Training: 3 weeks in length from 8:00am-5:00pm Mon-Fri (CST)
* Status: Full Time 40 hours
* Equipment Provided: Option-Equipment will be shipped to you for full-time permanent employees
* Must have verified internet service (secure, reliable, and dedicated high-speed is required to support business needs) and an established dedicated work area (desk, chair, electrical outlet, direct LAN connection)
