With a focus on cutting-edge technology and exceptional customer service, we're dedicated to creating a seamless experience for our clients and customers. **Job Summary** As a Phone & Chat Specialist, you'll be responsible for verifying nurses' credentials, following up with clients, and handling phone calls to ensure that our clients receive the support they need to fill shifts. This is a critical role that requires attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. **Key Responsibilities** * Verify nurses' credentials online and follow up with written messages to confirm validity * Handle follow-up phone calls with clients to check on the status of shift pick-ups * Manage large volumes of inbound and outbound calls in a timely manner * Manage multiple chat channels simultaneously * Follow communication scripts to handle different topics * Identify customers' needs, clarify information, research, and provide solutions and/or alternatives * Access company and client resources to accurately handle calls * Perform data entry and customer service skills * Navigate online efficiently to access client information and resources * Work requests/records received for clients requesting to sign up for shifts * Identify customers' needs, research to see if request has credentials needed * Skillfully switch between tasks without loss of efficiency or composure * Maintain punctuality and attendance at all scheduled times * Remain positive and professional in all customer interactions * Flexibility to cross-train as requested **Essential Qualifications** * 1 year of customer service or customer support experience * 1 year of previous call center or office background experience required * Technical savvy * Previous remote work from home experience a plus * Quick learner and able to work independently * Type 35 words per minute accurately * Strong phone and verbal communication skills along with active listening * A background check applicable with state and federal laws is required **Preferred Qualifications** * Previous experience in a healthcare-related field * Experience with online verification systems * Strong problem-solving skills * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment * Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including nights and weekends **Skills and Competencies** * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills * Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively * Strong attention to detail and organizational skills * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities * Strong technical skills, including proficiency in online verification systems **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At arenaflex, we're committed to helping our employees grow and develop their careers.
