**Key Responsibilities**
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing various projects, including operational, commercial, and new product development initiatives. Your primary objectives will be to:
* **Develop and Implement Project Plans**: Lead the team in creating project charters and management plans, ensuring that all stakeholders are aligned and informed. Direct, manage, monitor, and control projects, evaluating tradeoffs within the project to ensure optimal outcomes.
* **Collaborate with Stakeholders**: Meet with project stakeholders to understand and refine project scope, reviewing and refining the project scope with your manager for approval. Create detailed Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) to ensure that all tasks and deliverables are clearly defined.
* **Communicate Effectively**: Demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively with managers and team members, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed and engaged throughout the project lifecycle.
* **Manage Project Resources**: Develop and manage detailed project Gantt charts, analyzing critical path and major workstreams to ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget.
* **Develop and Execute Risk Management Plans**: Identify, analyze, and understand project risks, developing and monitoring a risk response plan to mitigate potential threats and ensure project success.
* **Estimate and Assign Project Resources**: Estimate, acquire, and assign project team resources, defining the role, responsibility, and deliverables for each team member. Provide direct feedback to functional managers on performance reviews.
* **Develop and Execute Stakeholder Management Plans**: Develop a Stakeholder management plan for the project, based on the identification, analysis, and understanding of Stakeholder expectations.
* **Develop and Execute Communications Management Plans**: Develop and execute communications management plans for the project team and key stakeholders, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed and engaged throughout the project lifecycle.
* **Manage Multiple Projects**: Manage multiple (8+) projects simultaneously, depending on complexity, ensuring that all projects are delivered on time and within budget.
* **Serve as PMO Project Lifecycle Expert**: Serve as the PMO project lifecycle expert on the team, owning project planning and replanning, assigning tasks, and managing the schedule to ensure deadlines are met.
* **Perform Project Status Reporting**: Perform project status reporting and exercise good judgment when escalating project and operational risks.
* **Leverage PM Tools**: Leverage PM tools to manage open action, risks, key decisions, and lessons learned.
* **Improve PMO Processes**: Actively engage in improving PMO processes, knowledge platforms, and culture.
* **Build Strong Relationships**: Build strong relationships with project team members, stakeholders, and leadership, fostering a positive project team environment.
* **Demonstrate Adaptability**: Demonstrate the ability to learn quickly and adapt to a changing environment.
**What You Need**
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* **Bachelor's Degree**: A Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field, such as Business Administration, Engineering, or Project Management.
* **4+ Years of Project Management Experience**: 4+ years of project management-related work experience, with a proven track record of managing or leading projects of varying complexity through the full project lifecycle.
* **Project Management Tools**: Experience with project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, or other tools is highly preferred.
* **Certification in Project Management**: Certification in Project Management, such as CAPM or PMP, is preferred.
* **Agile and/or Waterfall Planning Methodology**: Utilization of agile and/or waterfall planning methodology is preferred.
* **Knowledge of Materials and Manufacturing Processes**: Knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes for product design is preferred.
* **Lead Projects for Medical Devices or Regulated Industries**: Lead projects for medical devices or regulated industries is preferred.
