Job Overview
We are actively recruiting for future openings for the Customer Service Representative (Hybrid) position, which will be available in the near future. As a customer service representative at blithequark, you will be responsible for communicating with borrowers regarding federal student loan programs, resolving customer inquiries, taking loan payments, and providing repayment options. Key Responsibilities
- Respond to incoming borrower calls, chats, and make outbound calls in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring that all interactions meet the highest standards of customer service.
- Counsel and inform borrowers of their repayment options, deferments, and forbearance eligibility, taking payments and updating the borrower's account in an efficient and accurate manner.
- Locate needed information quickly and minimize the time borrowers are put on hold, ensuring that all interactions are resolved promptly and effectively.
- Maintain the security and privacy of the borrower, protecting both the borrower and our partners, and adhering to all relevant regulations and guidelines.
- Work an 8-hour shift with a one 1-hour lunch and two 15-minute breaks, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Demonstrate strong computer skills, including the ability to multitask and type while talking, and navigate our systems and software with ease.
Essential Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent, with some college or a bachelor's degree preferred, demonstrating a strong foundation in education and a commitment to ongoing learning.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment cognitive and personality assessment, which will be administered as part of our hiring process.
- Must be able to obtain a Federal 5C Security Clearance and credit check, which are required for this role.
- Must live in or near the Dallas-Fort Worth area, with a reliable means of accessing our office and working from home as required.
- Excellent organization, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information clearly and concisely.
- Ability to multitask, including typing while talking, and navigate multiple systems and software with ease.
- Must have access to home internet with at least 10 mg capacity and a router for an ethernet cord, ensuring that all technical requirements are met.
- Must have a location in the home that is free of noise and distraction, allowing for focused and productive work.
